The highest level in the Academy’s curriculum, level 4 is an intermediate level that will include an in-depth training on pistol mounted optics. This level will be a review of the first 3 levels of instructions and then enhancing the students knowledge and skills physically, and mentally. Among other things, level 4 will train shooters on movement while shooting, turning, cover identification and utilization, and skills development on various shooting techniques.

Most specially, level 4 will prepare shooters in tactical situations that will enhance their skills in communication, searching and identifying a threat or multiple threats, and overall training in situational awareness and development.

Level 4 will be a multi-day training course that will take a shooter to the next level of expertise and will require extensive training on the entire spectrum of firearm handling and safety. It will introduce the shooter to tactical shooting and its many facets including the mental acuity to identify, determine and engage the threat if the situation arises.
